18"in. x 24"in.
HB, 2H, 6H pencils Tissue as blending tool. 4-6hrs. YAY! Finally a Jaejoong drawing. He's from the Korean boy band Dong Bang Shin Ki (DBSK.) Again.. sorry about the date on it... this was actaually drawn in March 08'. It took me a while to get his lips right..he has full lips, but they were so hard to draw. I didn't want an outline around them, but didn't want them to be just.. shadows. I learned a new technique, at the time, to draw his eyes. (In case you didn't know I didn't go to a fancy-smancy art school like some of the people in here did so sorry if my value scale isn't that varied. I had to read books and look up tutorials. lol) The quote on it says.. "Nae saenghae, tananbone saranga... Annyong." (It might have been spelled wrong since Korean isn't my 1st language.) This is a quote from one of his solo songs entitled 'Insa'. It means "Farewell" in Korean. The quote itself means, " The love of my life... Goodbye." I just love the song and it's meaning so I had to put it on there. ^_^ |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.  reports, 1d 19h agoThis newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. |
